Our Satisfaction Guarantee

We ultimately want you to be happy with every purchase you make with Engles, but sometimes things don’t quite look the same in your home as they did in our showroom. If you are not satisfied with the new furniture you purchase, you may return it within 7 days of the original delivery for a full credit or refund. The furniture must be in original showroom condition and free of any odors. Special orders may not be returned or exchanged.

  1. Your merchandise will generally be delivered between 8:15 am and 5:00 pm amid a 2-3 hour time window.
  2. Our Delivery Office will contact you the evening before between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm to give you an approximate time frame for delivery.
  3. To avoid accidents in your home, please remove all pictures, plaques, mirrors, loose rugs and any breakable items from the entrance and hallways that will be used by the delivery crew.
  4. Traffic delays, difficult deliveries, bad weather, and other situations may delay our arrival time at your home. We will call you if we expect to arrive outside of our estimated time period. If you must leave the house unexpectedly, please call our Delivery Office so we can notify the delivery driver.
  5. It is your responsibility to be home when your merchandise is scheduled for delivery. In case of your absence due to an emergency, please call the store. If no one is home or able to accept delivery, you will need to contact us to pickup the merchandise at our store or to reschedule for the next time we are in your area.
  6. Delivery service is available within normal delivery area for $99.00. Special trips and deliveries outside our normal delivery area are available for $5.00 per mile one way.
  7. The delivery team can move existing furniture on your premise on a piece by piece case with prior arrangements.

These donation centers do not accept major stains or tears on furniture; they will give out donation slips for tax purposes and are non-profit organizations. Engles Furniture’s delivery crew can move haul away pieces to another room in your home until one of these organizations can make pick up arrangements.

* Due to the concern for the safety of Engles Employees, personnel at Engles Furniture cannot participate in deliveries or customer load outs that may be deemed hazardous or unsafe.


Engles Furniture, Inc. provides delivery to most areas and will deliver outside area for a normal fee. We would like to offer some suggestions as a reminder if you are going to transport items: Use an enclosed vehicle, bring good rope to tie items in, bring blankets to protect items (especially for glass), do not bend mattress as this may cause permanent damage, mattress handles are designed for positioning only and not carrying the mattress. Engles Furniture, Inc. will not be responsible for damage that may occur in your transporting of items.


The COD amount may be paid by check or cash. The delivery team will provide you with a receipt. Bankcard payment must be called into the store prior to delivery. Payment must be made or arranged prior to delivery, or drivers will not be able to leave merchandise.


If within 30 days of your purchase, the same merchandise (made by the same manufacturer) is stocked, displayed and advertised within Engles trade area for less, Engles will credit your account the difference; provided, however the customer agrees to purchase from Engles on same terms and conditions as required by competitor’s said advertisement. This does not apply to as-is, or floor sampled merchandise. Delivery fees and level of service will be considered when comparing terms and conditions.


Engles warrants this item to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a given period of one year from the effective date of delivery. Should any defect develop, the item brought will be repaired or replaced at no charge to you, based on our determination. This remedy is buyer’s sole and exclusive remedy. This warranty is void if Engles deems that said damage was caused intentionally by abuse, negligence, or by accident. In as much as upholstered fabrics are not guaranteed by the mills or factories, we do not guarantee fabric by ware, fading, color-fastness, or any damage caused by any cleaning process. For service out of Engles normal delivery area, the customer is required to return said items to Engles or Engles will send replacement parts, within the warranty period to the customer. In the event legal action is taken regarding this contract, the prevailing party shall recover in addition to all other relief, reasonable attorney fees and costs.
